We provided a 24/7 Wildlife rescue hotline for the greater Darwin region and rescued over 2,500 native animals over 2024. DWS also worked closely with other environmental agencies and organisations to deliver biodiversity education sessions to over 1000 school aged children and worked with over 50 youth at risk in a wildlife care and welfare education and engagement program.
