About Cultural Diversity Network Incorporated
We provided culturally appropriate support to alleviate the suffering and distress of migrant, asylum seeker, and refugee women caused by domestic and family violence (DFV). This included case management and financial and other support for victims. We provided settlement support services to newly arrived migrants, asylum seekers and refugees who face poverty, suffering, helplessness, or distress. With the support of the Good Things Foundation Australia we helped seniors from the CALD community to get connected using digital technology. This was a continuation of work from the Covid lockdown periods. In celebration of National Grandparents Day we hosted an intergenerational social function for elderly citizens from the CALD community and their descendants to strengthen social bonds and community cohesion.
