Founded by Australian Test Captain and allround good guy Pat Cummins, Cricket for Climate is on a mission to deliver clean energy and sustainability solutions for cricket communities, elevate the impacts of climate on the game we all love, and motivate millions of cricket fans to embrace climate action. We re walking the walk by taking real tangible action on exciting energy, sustainability, education, and engagement projects. Our goals are to: Reach netzero cricket Transition community cricket clubs and major venues to be carbonnegative, water positive, zero waste, and protect cricket ecosystems. Climate leadership Develop a network of cricket messengers players, community club presidents, cricket leaders to capture hearts and minds and inspire action on climate change. Accelerate global action on climate through cricket Influence the cricket ecosystem governments, corporates, fans players, other sports, cricket bodies globally towards climate action. We do so in collaboration with global business, cricket bodies, government, players, corporate partners, and other sports.
