1. We continue to operate Carman's House, a purposebuilt accommodation facility in Ethiopia supporting 36 girls whilst they complete secondary school. In 2024, we had 16 girls sit the Grade 12 National Exam, with 5 girls offered a place at university. Carman s House provides the opportunity for disadvantaged girls from rural areas to finish school and tertiary education. More: https://createimpact.ngo/project/carmanshousegirlshostel/ 2. We helped 13 students living with disabilities in Ethiopia by providing them with assisted devices and school supplies. These essential aids (including guide canes, wheelchairs, voice recorders) will greatly improve their learning experience and daily lives, giving them access to a more inclusive and supportive education environment. 3. We opened Spike s House, a hostel facility in Ethiopia supporting 6 highachieving boys whilst they complete Grade 12. All the students successfully passed the Grade12 National Exam and have been offered a place at university. 4. We completed the construction of Segno Gebeya Health Post in a rural area of Amhara, Ethiopia. This brandnew clinic provides primary healthcare to the local community including immunizations, pre and postnatal care to women and babies, malnutrition treatment and hygiene education. More: https://createimpact.ngo/project/segnogebeyahealthpost/ 5. We repaired the Irfa Health Post and its adjoining toilet block after it was damaged and looted during the Tigray war. We also provided vital medical equipment including a delivery bed, birthing kits and blankets. This remote clinic is now staffed with a dedicated midwife providing crucial care to women and newborns. 6. We commenced the construction of Sarsena Health Post, which will extend the reach of primary health care services in the area. 7. We commenced the repair of Sarsena Primary school as part of our Built to Bloom initiative. These projects involve constructing and improving education infrastructure and access to WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) at extremely needy schools that are not receiving any other assistance.
