Cows for Communities LimitedRegistered

Our project with Global Development Group is a COW BANK. It loan families a pregnant cow that they are required look after whilst its pregnant. When the calf is born, the family keep the baby and the project take the cow back (after the calf has been weaned) and it is reentered into the cow breeding program. Through GDG,Cows for Communities provides an opportunity to break the poverty cycle through cattle ownership, rather than a direct handout. The project that we promote is undertaken by Global Development Group (ABN57102400993) which is an ACNCregistered charity and an Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade approved organisation in the overseas aid gift deduction scheme.
