Coogee Surf Life Saving Club Inc.

We are proud to highlight a significant and reassuring outcome of the season: no lives were lost between the red and yellow flags at Coogee Beach. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our lifesavers and should not be taken lightly, particularly given our understanding of the inherent dangers of the surf and the alarming number of drownings that occur at coastal and aquatic locations across New South Wales. Throughout the 2024/2025 season, our dedicated members collectively contributed over 24,000 hours patrolling Coogee Beach and carried out 24 rescues at Coogee and responded to 103 first aid incidents and over 4,400 preventative actions.
