CHF's mission is to draw on consumer and community knowledge and experience to continue to drive innovation and improvements to the Australian health and human service system. We achieve this through a comprehensive set of activities involving the development of policies and position statements from which we advocate, often in partnership with likeminded organisations, for health and human service policy in the best interests of consumers and the community; we support authentic consumer engagement and involvement in policy making and service design through education and training and hosting a national consumer representatives panel; and we partner for purpose with our members and networks to maximise the impact of the consumer voice in policy debates and discourse at the national level.
