About Conscious Creative Limited

From JanuaryDecember 2024, HoMie ran two impact programs for young people affected by homelessness or hardship: The HoMie Pathway Alliance and the HoMie VIP Program. These programs are designed to equip them with the skills, confidence and experiences to be more workready and better prepared for their future. The VIP Program is HoMie s very first impact program, and one that it still runs to this day. The program is built around HoMie s VIP Days, where its store is closed to the public, and young people affected by homelessness or hardship are invited in to shop for free. Young people can choose up to five items of brandnew clothing off the racks, while enjoying haircuts, beauty services, and lunch with the HoMie team. These days are regularly facilitated by graduates of the HoMie Pathway Alliance, connecting attendees with a peer voice and a future opportunity. For young people who can t attend a VIP Day in person, HoMie works with their support service to send out a customised VIP Pack specially made for each individual young person, including five items of clothing, care packs, and handwritten notes from the HoMie team. In 2024, HoMie supported 423 young people, donating 1819 items of clothing. The HoMie Pathway Alliance is HoMie s flagship employment and education program. Over the course of eight months every year, young people affected by homelessness are paid to study a Cert III in Business and undertake professional and personal development classes, while being employed parttime at the HoMie store, or with one of HoMie s partners Champion, Nike, and Sportsgirl. In 2024, 11 young people graduated the program, receiving 1264 hours of paid Cert III education and training and 3540 hours of hours of award wage employment. The HoMie Pathway Alliance now has 62 graduates, with 84% of those young people meaningfully employed and/or enrolled in further education 12 months postprogram.
