Community Health Onkaparinga Inc.

Community Health Onkaparinga exists to support community health, creativity, and collaborative action in the City of Onkaparinga (South Australia's most populated council precinct). We do this by running programs that build a sense of connection that aid in promoting good health and overcoming isolation for people most affected by issues of poverty, illness, and social isolation in the community. The key program we ran in 2024 to achieve our goal was a preventative communitybased program that had a focus on reducing food waste (and educating ways to reduce food waste) while also providing free meals to people affected by food security issues in the City of Onkaparinga (South Australia's largest council precinct).
