About Community Canteen Co Ltd

We provide nutritious, healthy and attractive looking meals to those who need one. We focus on providing meals to those who are homeless or distressed in Fortitude Valley, and to women and children in temporary accommodation in Brisbane as a result of domestic violence. We have been operating for over 15 years, produce over 30,000 meals a year with about 200 volunteers. We also attempt to utilise fresh food given away from the large supermarket chains wherever possible
