We provided food and essential services to people experiencing hardship, rescuing excess food from food retailers and other institutions and delivering it to charities and refuges; We provided an alternative education program for disadvantaged and at risk young people; We assisted the frail, aged and people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and delivered living skills and leisure programs for people with a disability; We provided supported accommodation and outreach services to homeless families, particularly women and children escaping domestic violence; We improved the life skills of young families through oneonone mentoring, providing disadvantaged and at risk families with coordinated and intensive support; We provided practical, coordinated support to victims of crime and worked with low income families to reduce energy consumption; We engaged volunteers from the community to support the above endeavors.
