In 2025 we invite partnerships to increase our prevention activities in schools. Many of Australia's highest priority health and social problems have preventable origins in the adverse experience of children and young people (e.g., school failure, substance abuse, mental illness, obesity, crime, violence, injury). If we can encourage our communities to invest in evidencebased programs and strategies children and young people will grow up with reduced problems and increased wellbeing. Communities That Care Ltd is a notforprofit training and consulting company formed with the objective of implementing, evaluating, and disseminating strategies for building community prevention capacity in Australia. Our vision is to work with communities to build prevention capacity, strengthen relationships and advocate for the widespread adoption of prevention strategies.
