Columban Overseas Aid FundRegistered

The Columban Overseas Aid Fund (COAF) exists to express in practical ways the mission of the Columban Fathers: to stand in solidarity with the poor, the marginalised, and the vulnerable, and to promote justice, peace, and care for creation. Through COAF, the Columbans are able to channel the generosity of benefactors into programs that make a tangible difference in people s lives. Supporting the Mission in Action Direct Assistance to Communities in Need COAF provides resources for projects that address urgent human needs such as access to food, healthcare, housing, and education helping vulnerable families live with dignity. Education and Formation COAF assists in forming young people and faith communities to understand global inequalities, encouraging them to live out their faith through compassion and service. Promoting Justice and Solidarity Beyond material aid, COAF enables advocacy initiatives that tackle the root causes of poverty and exclusion, amplifying the voices of those too often unheard. The Impact Through these efforts, the Columban Overseas Aid Fund helps to achieve the Society s overall mission: proclaiming the Gospel through word and action, fostering crosscultural solidarity, and building communities where justice, peace, and care for creation are lived out daily.
