Collaroy SLSC provides surf life saving patrols and services to the public at Collaroy Beach on all weekends and public holidays during the period from the end of September to the end of April. The Club also provides an emergency call out service to respond to surf related emergencies occurring at or around Collaroy Beach outside patrol hours throughout the full year. The Club provides training to Club members in surf lifesaving techniques in accordance with principles and guidelines from Surf Lifesaving Australia and Surf Lifesaving NSW. In particular our Nippers program fosters, supports, teaches and encourages surf safety and water safety to younger members.
