About Click Ink Inc
In 2024, BPS hosted a bold suite of activities that created social impact, promoted artistic wellbeing and bridged gaps of understanding with olive branches of hope and community. In 2024, we presented a diverse program of literary and performance events, including nine poetry slams (one with Sydney Writers Festival) that featured over 30 artists and 150 performers 90% of whom were from CALD, First Nations or queer backgrounds resulting in significant growth in both audience attendance and artist wages. We expanded our reach by increasing online video content by 40% and hosted major launches for Bernadette Kirawan, Jazz Money and Omar Musa. Our workshops, delivered in partnership with leading institutions such as Sydney Opera House, Western Sydney University and the Still Nest Foundation, provided creative opportunities for more than 70 participants, while our Real Talk program engaged 10 schools and young people at Sydney Children s Hospital, culminating in a finale for 200 students. Flagship events included Rhyme / Reclamation, a soldout Grand Slam at Sydney Town Hall with 2,000 attendees, and the National Youth Poetry Slam, presented with the State Library of NSW and 4Elements Youth Hip Hop Festival, showcasing young talent from across the country.
