About Claremont RSL Sub-Branch Inc
Claremont RSL is an exservice club which exists to provide for the sick, helpless, wounded, aged, disabled, destitute and needy among those who are serving or who are serving or who have served in the Australia Defence Forces, the various British Commonwealth Defence forces, members of the allied Defence Forces and their dependents. Claremont RSL has a welfare fund which is used to make donations to organisations such as Legacy as well as supporting our own subbranch members who at times may need other financial or other support. As part of our commitment to the community, Claremont RSL makes its clubrooms available free of charge to a wide range of communitybased groups. These groups include Rotary, senior cribbage, church groups, craft and quilting groups and a number of disability organisations, senior citizens and we support Aurora Industries fund raising every year selling ANZAC biscuits. We also provide annual bursaries to each of the seven schools in our area.
