We have encouraged the involvement of all performers and emerging performers including individuals and groups in music, speech, drama, instrumentals, vocals, dancing and other similar activities having cultural or artistic merit and provided professional assessment of their performances by qualified adjudicators. We have also encouraged the public to attend events through appropriate publicity and promotion and developed a strong volunteer support group with a combination of older persons and a number of high school students to maximise community engagement and involvement. We have also participated in and/or supported other activities designed to advance and promote culture in the Illawarra region.
