Educational status is an important indicator of children s wellbeing and future life opportunities. While this is an ideal situation for all children, disadvantaged and vulnerable students in Nepal face a number of daily challenges including inadequate classroom space, teaching materials, learning resources, playgrounds, science laboratories or libraries, clean drinking water and functioning toilets, dutiful qualified subject teachers, poor teaching practices, delayed or nonavailability of textbooks, a lack of adequate financial support and poor and insufficient resources. ChEd Nepal provides children with a good quality education, while they learn the skills, they will need to thrive in the 21st century. We are helping poor and vulnerable children to access an early education and our sponsors pledge to support them until they finish their education and enter the workforce.
