The objective of the CTA funds is predominantly for the relief of suffering, distress, misfortune, or helplessness, giving freely to those who need such support and whose needs arouse compassion in the community. In 202324, to promote the health and wellbeing of the community, CTA supported physical activity by offering dance classes for women and children. To enhance mental health, CTA also provided free yoga classes. For refugee children lacking financial support for private educational assistance, CTA organised volunteers to offer free tuition. Operational expenses, such as stationery and other incidental costs for students and staff were covered by CTA. For refugees experiencing distress and misfortune because of their uncertain visa situations and mental distress, CTA provided support to obtain necessary legal assistance to discuss their visa issues.
