Centre For Whale Research Western Australia Incorporated

The Centre for Whale Research (WA) Inc continues whale research to understand migratory paths and timing, particularly humpback whales and pygmy blue whales along the WA coastline using offshore visual and acoustic surveys, satellitetagging projects and biopsy skin and whale blow sampling. The research has contributed to the over 80 scientific research publications. The research of Curt Jenner AM and Micheline Jenner AM operating the CWR was recognised in the Queen's Birthday 2018 Honors List with their appointments as Members of the Order of Australia. The citation was listed as For significant service to conservation and the environment, particularly for whale research in Western Australia
