1. We arranged three workshops for people with brain injuries to enhance social engagement and to introduce activities or skills: drumming, an art and craft session, cake decorating and chocolate making. Each activity used the skills of a local Bathurst artisan and was linked to a lunch and social interaction. These workshops built on the social engagements offered for people with brain injuries through second monthly lunches and social gatherings. 2. We supported Mid Western Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program (MWBIRP) clinical staff to offer two workshops for family members of people with a brain injury to learn more about caring for themselves, supporting their family member with the injury and meeting others living in a similar situation to develop mutual support relationships. 3. We continued to support MWBIRP to provide Care and Support Packages to families new to the business of supporting a member with an acquired brain injury. 4. We applied for and were successful in receiving a NSW ClubGrants donation to run an activity for children having a close relationship with a person with brain injury in 2025.
