Central Queensland Diabetes Group Incorporated

CQ Diabetes Group Inc (CQDGI) is a nonprofit diabetes charity and support group raising awareness in the Central Queensland community, organising educational camps for children with diabetes and promoting improved health for adults with Type 1 diabetes through education, self help group support and social networking. Annual camps for Kids are run by local volunteer clinical staff to provide kids with diabetes self management and provide a full weekend full of fun and recreational experiences. In 2024, Bundaberg Juvenille Diabetes Action Support Group (BJDASG), held the kids camp for CQ area. We assisted in the program and hired a bus to take children to and from our local area so they could attend the camping experience. We expect to deliver 2025 Kids Camp in April with the BDASG to travel with their local kids to us.
