About Centaur Memorial Fund For Nurses
We undertake commemorative activities in relation to the sinking of the 2/3 AHS Centaur hospital ship off the coast of Queensland in 1943. We hold a Nurses Memorial Candlelight Vigil; a Memorial Service. We also award Centaur Medals(Queensland) to highestachieving nursing students, as well as an annual Centaur Doctoral Research Scholarship Award (Queensland) for suitable candidates.
