CASPA provides bespoke and innovative care models to children and young people with complex needs. CASPA uniqueness is in working with children who are avoided by most service providers in Australia due to high levels of needs complexity. Programs include: Intensive Therapeutic Residential Care (ITRC) is designed for children over 12 years of age, who require specialised intensive support to maintain stability in their care arrangements Interim Care (NSW) is a temporary placement (up to 3 months) while a permanent placement is arranged House Parent (NSW) is a hybrid model of foster care and ITRC where designated staff ( house leaders , house parents ) live in a home for multiple days at a time and create a homelike environment for children and young people Supported Independent Living (NSW) / Transition to Independent Living (NT) programs prepare young people to successfully transition from outofhome care to independent living, providing young adults with accommodation, supervising staff and structured program to build independent living skills Permanency Support Program (PSP) (previously known as Foster Care) provides tailored services to vulnerable children so that they can grow up in stable, secure and loving homes. Such services include kinship care, guardianship, adoption, respite and long term placement options Individual placement arrangements for children with complex needs in Northern Territory and Queensland Family preservation services involve close work with the families to build parenting capacity and prevent children going into care All CASPA locations have a dedicated AfterHours team, operating 365 days a year for clinical guidance and support at any time to attend houses as required to support any child in care with CASPA.
