In 2024, we supported Carlton Public School by raising funds and providing resources to improve learning opportunities, wellbeing, and facilities for students. Our work also strengthened connections between parents, carers, teachers, and the wider community to create a positive and inclusive school environment. We worked closely with the parent community and school staff to organise events, fundraise, and purchase items that supported the school community. We purchased a microwave for the Breakfast Club and contributed funds to help the school buy additional supplies for the program. Throughout the year, we ran a variety of events, including secondhand uniform stalls, the Kindy Parent Morning Tea, Mother s Day Stall, Father s Day Stall, Mother s Day Breakfast, Father s Day Pizza Night, Ramadan Community Night, the Easter Guessing Competition, 100 Days of Kindy, the Student Disco Night, and the Christmas Raffle. We also celebrated our teachers on World Teachers Day and farewelled the Year 6 students with a small gift. In addition, our volunteers supported the school by assisting in the tender process and participating in teacher selection panels.
