Carey Right Track Foundation LTD

During the financial period the Foundation/Charity continued developing relationships with Aboriginal and remote communities throughout the Murchison, primarily Meekatharra, Yalgoo, Mount Magnet and Cue through running community, school and athletics programs. An additional region was added in the Pilbara of WA, where we serviced towns such as Pannawonica and Paraburdoo. Secondly by continuing to grow the Recreation Mentoring program in Banksia Hill Detention Centre now running weekly boys and girls programs in Banksia Hill Detention centre and recently starting a recreation program in Unit 18. Thirdly, by growing our Carey College Scholarship program to include 6 students and further developing School Aboriginal Leadership Conferences with 3 schools. The final piece that was added to the Foundation was our internal employee pathway program. An initiative designed at equipping staff with learning opportunities as well as developing interpersonal skills to implement whilst on programs.
