Care & Concern Ministries Incorporated

Care and Concern Ministries Incorporated (C&C) is a Public Benevolent Organisation (PBO). C&C provides financial and pastoral support to individuals and families living in distress in the Dural and surrounding areas of Sydney, NSW. This includes hardship payments towards accomodation, food and travel. Financial support is also provided to support legal representation for financially disadvantaged people. C&C also provides pastoral support to the members of the Church and to users of The Centre's sports and recreational facilities. C&C operates two large onsite Mens's Sheds. These facilities are used by a large number of men, to whom significant pastoral support is provided. C&C has also partnered with the Hands and Feet Incorporated to provide a regular free food distribution location in Dural, serving an increasing number of people. People coming to collect free food are also being embraced with companionship and pastoral support. C&C is also working with The Cottage Counselling Centre organisation (TCCC), proving an onsite, rentfree, appropriately furnished counselling venue for professional Counsellors to provide individual, couples and family counselling services. TCCC seeks to assist financially disadvantage clients by offering discounted fees for their services. During the year C&C also established a Community Garden service. C&C assists in facilitating the provision, in Australia, of sports programs for children and young adults from the countries. These sports programs help provide communitybuilding awareness and practical skills, through developing interpersonal skills whilst learning and playing Futsal (indoor football) and other sports.
