We provided asylum seekers with rental and financial support where they lost employment because they were not eligible for Australian Government income and family support. We provided good neighbour support and enabled community connections to assist refugees and asylum seekers to settle in and become part of the community in Canberra We assisted families in finding employment and undertaking education to qualify for employment We provided education awards in recognition of educational effort and achievement by refugees and asylum seekers.
