Canberra Pet Rescue Incorporated

Canberra Pet Rescue rescued, raised, rehabilitated and rehomed hundreds of pets in need in and around Canberra thanks to the generous support received by our community and the dedication of our volunteers who rescue and care for these animals in their homes. In addition to fostering and rehoming, we also kept hundreds of pets with their owners during times of crisis through our highly valued PetAssist program. We sadly lost our premises and a significant amount of pet care items (food and supplies) due to severe vandalism. This has been devastating as we now have no premises to operate out of and we have not yet returned to full operational capacity. The flowon effects of continued cost of living pressures the number of owners seeking to surrender or rehome a pet continue to rise and outweigh services available in the region. Our team can be proud of what we achieved during these times, and we have been very grateful for the support received from our community.
