Campbelltown Players Incorporated

Over the past year as a committee we have focused on various projects to strengthen our community, build solid foundations and raise our profile within the local area. These projects include performing at a Butterfly Conservation event, and holding our management committee meetings at a local community club. We established the Gig Gang initiative, which provides opportunities for the local community to enjoy and participate in South Australian performing arts. We facilitated attendance by local community members to 6 shows. We are working with the Campbelltown Council and local arts groups on a committee to plan for the future of a local arts facility, Brookside Community Arts Centre. Together with the Campbelltown Council, we facilitated quarterly Campbelltown Community Arts Network gatherings, to enable artists, actors, musicians and dancers from the local area to network. We convened a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle to raise funds to cover our operating costs.
