Callide Dawson Special Needs Support Group Incorporated

Our group supported people with a disability by bringing internationally renowned Autism Spectrum Disorder speakers Professor Tony Attwood and Dr Michelle Garnett to Biloela for a series of workshops. These workshops were well attended and were highly beneficial for educators, parents and carers, and for people living with neurodiversity in our community. We also enabled the provision of an early childhood music therapy intervention program which was highly appreciated. Our group continues to provide resources for the Community Resource Centre for use by schools, kindergartens and individual families throughout the Dawson and Callide Valleys.
