Bunyah Restoration Project Incorporated

We conducted koala population and heath surveys with the assistance of the local community and citizen scientists. We logged over 150 koala and 50 glider sightings in out Project area and collaborated with the DPI and universities to provide base line data for population assessments, genetic studies and disease testing. We planted 27,000 trees (mostly koala feed trees) and installed 4 arboreal koala drinkers. We hosted community events to share our experiences and engage and motivate likeminded individuals.
