Building Strong Families Foundation LTD

The Foundation provided cultural and social support, travel, accommodation, economic and other support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families who, due to economic, social or familyrelated pressures, may be vulnerable to isolation and/ or at risk of engaging in anxious, depressive or suicidal behaviours. The Foundation also provided business support to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs and small business owners/ sole traders in order to enhance confidence and reinforce positive identity construction in individuals and families. Through Generational Care the Foundation provided placement support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people under, or at risk of, child protection orders and/ or youth justice orders in Queensland.
