Bucaan Community House Inc

Bucaan Community House, proceeded to contact local business within our local community to try and address the cost of living with food relief. As a community house we are not funded to deliver Food access, so finding great partners, that can help with different varieties of food wasn t easy. So many of our local business explained that they are also inundated with requests for partnerships with multiple other organisations requesting assistance. After many phone calls, meetings and emails, Bucaan Community House, was very fortunate to get 2 strong partnerships, one with Banjo s Bakery and the other with Woolworths Claremont Village. During 2023 2024 Bucaan Community House and our volunteers have worked hard in our Community Garden at Karambi Street, Chigwell. To grow and deliver fresh produce for the community to access at our roadside Share Shed. Bucaan Community House offers community meals once a week at the community garden. These meals are designed to be healthy, cheap, and affordable meals made fresh from the produce grown at the garden.
