Throughout the year we have supported family togetherness by raising the awareness of the importance and value on play through providing resources and equipment that encourage children to play. We recommend and refer various toys for children by educating parents as to various components and benefits of play for children and various developmental stages. We had planned a family play day but unfortunately this was rained out so we had to cancel it and could not set another suitable date. We have increased our sustainability through repairing and recycling thousands of toys and being awarded a sustainability award from Brisbane City Council.
