Working collaboratively with individuals and other community organisations, we provided appropriate services that emotionally, physically and financially supported members in our community with a cancer diagnosis. This certainly helped enhance their wellbeing throughout their cancer journeys. We provided awareness to our community about prevention, early detection, treatment, palliative assistance and research concerning all cancers. We also provided equipment, facilities, tuition and an overall opportunity for cancer survivors, families and friends to participate in the sport of Dragon Boating, whilst also ensuring that all aspects of injury prevention strategies and enhancement of physical and mental health were endorsed and emphasised.
