The Brahma Kumaris in Australia ascribes to the following guiding principles. We seek to: Encourage a deeper understanding of the individuals place and purpose within the broader context of life; Reaffirm the spiritual identity, inherent goodness, dignity, and worth of the human being; Encourage a change of awareness, attitude, vision, and behaviour within the human family; Foster a spirit of human brotherhood; Support the betterment of the human condition. To achieve this, The Brahma Kumaris teaches Raja Yoga Meditation, positive living, and other selfdevelopment programs free of charge in the spirit of making it available to everyone, irrespective of their economic status, religion, culture or any other obstacle. Our activities are delivered through approximately 40 teaching locations across Australia: 12 Centres, 4 Retreat Centres, and 24 Course and Outreach Locations. We also have a rapidly increasing social media presence, including posting of inspirational video content on YouTube, and downloadable multimedia products. We continue to develop a stronger focus on engagement across social media and delivery content on high use platforms.
