Bowel Cancer Australia is dedicated to championing what matters most to people impacted by bowel cancer and empowering everyone affected to live their best life. Challenging perceptions, overcoming barriers, and creating meaningful change across the care continuum through awareness, advocacy, and integrated research to improve access to personalised treatments and patientcentred care. We implement dynamic campaigns to raise awareness and motivate action. We increase health knowledge and understanding through the provision of information and resources. We empower people with the tools to be advocates for their own health. We provide practical and emotional support for the growing number of Australians affected by bowel cancer, building communities through shared experiences and creating a powerful voice for change. We campaign for access to personalised treatment and patientcentred care, to ensure more people live beyond bowel cancer. We fund research that has the potential to improve survival and/or help build a path toward a cure as well as integrate published research into our awareness, advocacy, and support strategies. We raise funds to continue our lifesaving work and inspire others to do the same.
