As an organisation, we strive to create positive social change by delivering and supporting quality community services that directly alleviate social and economic hardship while reducing social isolation. We achieve this through a variety of targeted programs and activities, which include: Access to the No Interest Loan Scheme Access to free legal support Advocacy and support services Access to Counselling services Free tax assistance Community playgroups, including an Aspect (Autism) playgroup Child and Family Health Services The Parents Next program Emergency Relief Food relief We are dedicated to supporting the local Aboriginal community, providing free access to space for afterschool homework groups, collaborating and partnering on NAIDOC events, and hosting our annual Red Dust Healing forum. This year we have continued our efforts on assisting young girls 815 through Our GREAT Girls Resilience Education and Art Time program offers education and creative activities to disadvantaged youth, helping them develop important life skills, improve their mental health and wellbeing, and build resilience. We also provide inclusive and safe programs for youth, young children, seniors, and vulnerable families, all aimed at enhancing mental and physical wellbeing. Our offerings include: Afterschool educational and creative programs School holiday activities for primary schoolaged children Youth holiday break programs Activities for socially isolated seniors Additionally, we host community events such as our Winter Solstice Family Fun Day and Halloween events for children and families. Through these initiatives, we endeavour to strengthen communities and families while fostering resilience among young people. We are committed to supporting our older community members and individuals with disabilities, working diligently to combat stigma and social isolation, and addressing social and economic challenges.
