Blue Hope Support Services Limited

During 2023, Blue HOPE continued to provide outreach to current and former Police Officers and their families via specific outings featuring their self contained food trailer, in addition to supporting numerous other fund raising initiatives as presented. This outreach was usually provided via a 'free' coffee and meal, providing a safe, nonjudgmental conversation with Blue HOPE volunteers to interested parties. Once the issues raised were 'triaged', the need for more professional acute care was usually discussed. These conversations were often started via a group presentation, with the focus on being aware of 'red flags' in terms of PTSD, Depression and Anxiety, as experienced by serving Police Officers volunteering for our organisation. In addition to this we support fundraising events as presented to us including minor catering (via our food trailer) for team building and mental health support events, with the charity often as the beneficiary of said event. 2024 was a period of reduced activity for the charity owing to employment commitments of key personnel.
