Biodiversity Legacy LTD

We commenced operations in 2023. During this financial year our team grew to 6 employees, based in VIC and NSW in a mixture of community facing roles (Biolink Coordinators), national facing roles and remote support roles. We work alongside likeminded individuals and organisations to return biodiverse habitat to community care for the benefit of all regionally relevant species and their future generations. The Biolink Coordinators role has been a really strong connective mechanism for this work and helps communities see that they are contributing within a broader biolinked network. Each Biolink Coordinator is working according to local context and priorities, projects are varied and allow for an extended reach and shared learning between regions. During this year, we facilitated the transfer of Ned s Forest, an environmentally significant 69acre property of old growth forest based in the South Coast of NSW, into a safe ownership structure. Biodiversity Legacy provides the ongoing governance and highlevel strategic advice so that the property can be protected in perpetuity and cared for by generations to come. We also spent a lot of this year updating our communications with a refined vision and purpose, developing relationships with legal teams across Australia and working through legal processes and templates to support landowners that are wanting to leave a legacy for future generations.
