Biala's vision is that children with additional needs are active participants in all aspects of family and community life during the early years and into the future. Biala aims to give children and their families the opportunity and support to join in a range of family and community activities. Family involvement is therefore an essential part of the service for support, information, education, and training. Families are encouraged to become a part of the community. We seek to achieve this by providing support and services to children and their families based on a social model of support. A large percentage of families accessing support from Biala are dealing with complex and challenging life situations including family violence and the need for child protection. We offer psychology, counselling and social worker supports.
