Better Streets Incorporated

Better Streets is established to be a charity with the purpose of enhancing the natural environment of Australia by reducing climate emissions from transport. It achieves this by conducting projects, creating coalitions, and training and supporting groups and individuals to enable them to increase public support for projects which improve safety and attractiveness of walking, wheeling, cycling and the use of public transport, through better streets that are accessible and welcoming to all our communities. In the past year Better Streets Better Streets organised and coordinated community events. We promoted the visits of Welsh Minister Lee Waters visits to cities across Australia. We developed resources such as a Pedestrian crossing toolkit and we made governance progress towards achieving Gift Recipient Status.
