Bendemeer Art ShowRegistered

The Bendemeer Art Show hosts an annual 4 day Art Show and Sale with the aim of encouraging new and existing artists/photographers in their chosen field, and by having all submitted art works for sale. Prizes are awarded in multiple categories with the funds sourced from; sponsors, art show sale commissions, Show admission charges, and artwork entry fees. We foster new and local artists in this way (both Junior and Adult) to explore their talent and potential, while at the same time providing a now well renowned social event on the local calendar. The Bendemeer Art Show is also engaged in facilitating the establishment of a public outdoor sculpture display at various locations between Bendemeer, Woolbrook and Walcha with public donations towards this work now being received. The project is known as the New England Sculpture Track (NEST) and is intended as a publicly accessible trail of large sculpture works to foster art tourism in the local region. Any profits calculated at the conclusion of the event are dispersed towards; the next years event, and other local volunteer groups working for the community. All program staffing is by volunteers, there are no paid members.
