Beacon Foundation Limited

Beacon Foundation delivers career awareness and work readiness programs that bring together business, industry and schools. We focus on operating in low ICSEA (Index of Community Socioeducational Disadvantage) schools and low socioeconomic communities where young people are more likely to be disengaged from school and experience high levels of unemployment or underemployment. In 2024 we supported young people through direct service delivery in a number of ways: * Inperson collaborative programs to build career exposure, work readiness and job skills (Beacon Short Courses) * Intermediary service connecting business/industry and schools to facilitate work experiences and activities for students (Work Based Learning Services) * Intensive multisession Beacon Career Program building students' aspiration, motivation and career awareness
