BayFM exists to advance culture and community wellbeing through independent, communityrun radio and related media, giving local people a voice and a platform to share music, stories, information, and diverse perspectives for public benefit. The purpose of BayFM is to advance culture and promote social inclusion by operating a community radio and media service that: provides accessible, independent broadcasting for the local community; promotes and supports local arts, music, and cultural expression; amplifies diverse community voices, including First Nations voices, to foster mutual respect and understanding; and builds community connection and participation through volunteering, training, and community programming.
