About Bat Rescue

Our organisation had 371 flyingfoxes and microbats in care during the 2024 reporting period. This is our core business providing a 24/7 rescue service for Australian Native bats of SE Qld. We also conducted a number of displays and educational talks. Our members attended training we host every year to keep their knowledge current. A major project we have been working on in 2024 is to secure a permanent site on public land on which to build a flyingfox release facility.
