Bangla Art Centre Inc, Victoria (BACV) is purely a nonprofit and nonpolitical organisation with below objectives, goals and impact with the community: a) Establish closer ties between member families and greater Australian community by showing mutual respects and by observing honesty, integrity and openness. b) to promote cultural, intellectual and social learning amongst members of the community; c) to organize cultural functions to develop and promote awareness of Bengali culture among members of the Association and their families, and the larger community of Victoria; f) to develop and maintain a Bengali Community Hall to host the community cultural programs and religious festivities; h) to develop and promote awareness of Bengali literature, music, culture, tradition and lifestyle among the Australian society; i) to liaise with Federal, State and Local Governments and with private enterprises to promote and serve the interests of the Bengali Community in Victoria.
