Our communitybased child care centre is committed to providing highquality, inclusive, and affordable early childhood education and care. Our mission is to support the wellbeing, learning, and development of children while strengthening families and fostering community connection. Over the past year, we have made significant progress toward this mission through the following key initiatives: Providing Quality Early Learning Programs We delivered ageappropriate, playbased learning programs aligned with early childhood education standards. These programs support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in a safe and nurturing environment. Supporting Families and Caregivers We engaged parents and caregivers through regular communication, family events, and access to parenting resources. This partnership approach strengthened families and improved outcomes for children. Promoting Inclusion and Accessibility We ensured our services remained accessible to families from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing financial hardship, cultural barriers, or additional needs. Fee subsidies and tailored support were offered where necessary and we are out of pocket for our inclusion support as the inclusion support amount we receive does not cover the additional staff member we are required to have due to one on one care. We do this for our love of our organisation. Building Community Connections Our centre served as a hub for the local community, collaborating with local services, schools, and health providers to connect families to broader support networks and encourage community involvement. Investing in Our Staff We supported the professional development of our educators through regular training and mentorship, ensuring high standards of care and education were maintained. By focusing on these priorities, our centre continued to create a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for children and families. This directly contributed to achieving our overall mission of nurturing healthy, confident, and connected children within a thriving community.
