BRMC continues to work in partnership with our members, key government and community stakeholders, and the wider Ballarat community to actively promote multiculturalism, cultural diversity, inclusion and the wellbeing of all migrant communities throughout the region. Our regular services and programs include: Settlement support and activities for new arrivals, Education programs for children and youth, Employment support, Social activities and events for Seniors, and Family and Sexual violence community engagement and support. Across the year we saw 200+ multicultural and faith group leaders engage in our multicultural dialogues and information sessions; 110+ students attend our education programs; 400+ participants from 30+ different cultural backgrounds attend our settlement activities; and 250+ seniors attended our regular multicultural seniors activities. This past year also saw the introduction of BRMC's multicultural Health Access program, where in partnership with Ballarat Community Health, we are hosting a multicultural Health Clinic every Thursday at the Ballarat Welcome Centre.
